Job summary

Körber Supply Chain DK is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Arden to drive mechanical design across the project lifecycle, from concept through commissioning. You will coordinate cross‑functional activities and mentor teammates, ensuring on‑time delivery and compliance with standards.

The role demands 7–10 years of experience in mechanical design of automation solutions, strong leadership, and expertise in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record as Lead Engineer on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD tools (Inventor/SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities across projects.
• Develop and review mechanical concepts, layouts, and detailed designs.
• Ensure compliance with machinery directives and safety standards.
• Manage and support internal and external engineers.
• Conduct design reviews and risk assessments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team.
• Support procurement with technical specs and supplier evaluations.
• Deliver engineering drawings, BOMs, calculations, and reports.
• Assist manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.
