Job summary

Ørsted is seeking an accounting lead for M&A transactions within IC Projects & IFRS. You will apply IFRS expertise to shape transaction structures, assess implications, and translate conclusions into clear insights for commercial decisions.

You will collaborate with Partnerships and M&A, auditors, and external advisers across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific to deliver high-quality accounting assessments and memos that support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting, auditing, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Act as IFRS accounting lead on acquisitions, divestments, farm-downs, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
• Assess accounting implications early in the transaction process and advise on proposed deal structures.
• Prepare IFRS accounting assessments and memos to support commercial decisions.
• Review draft contracts and transaction materials from an accounting perspective.
• Engage with investors, advisers, auditors, and internal stakeholders on accounting matters.
