Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires deep IFRS expertise and experience advising on IFRS implications of M&A transactions.
• Ability to translate complex accounting matters into actionable conclusions for management and non‑accounting stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across finance, M&A, auditors, and external advisers.

Responsibilities

• Act as IFRS accounting lead on acquisitions, divestments, farm-downs, joint ventures, and structured financing arrangements.
• Assess accounting implications early in transactions and advise on deal structures.
• Prepare clear IFRS assessments and memos to support commercial decisions.
• Review draft contracts and transaction documents from an accounting perspective.
• Participate in meetings with investors, advisers, auditors, and internal stakeholders on accounting matters.
• Contribute to Group Finance activities including policy development and reporting.
