Job summary

European Energy seeks a Transaction Manager or Deputy Transaction Manager to lead M&A and Asset Financing activities from our Søborg HQ in Copenhagen. You will own deals end-to-end, coordinating financial modelling, investor talks, and due diligence across wind, solar, and storage projects globally.

The role emphasizes strong modelling, PM, and communication skills, with a clear path to senior responsibilities in a growing renewable energy company.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in finance, business, economics or similar.
• Strong financial modelling skills (DCF/PF) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent project management, presentation and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken; additional languages a plus.
• Proactive, commercially minded with interest in energy transition and markets.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of transactions from origination to closing.
• Run external divestment outreach and engage with investors.
• Prepare and maintain financial models for wind, solar, Power-to-X, and storage projects.
• Structure and manage Virtual Data Rooms and coordinate due diligence.
• Prepare marketing materials, information memoranda and investor presentations.
• Develop M&A assumptions and business cases based on market feedback.
• Collaborate with legal, tax and project development teams.
• Maintain dialogue with investors, banks, and stakeholders.
• Lead investor management and negotiations during the transaction.
