Job summary

Orsted Asia Pacific is seeking an accounting lead for IFRS-focused M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, farm-downs, and joint ventures. You will advise on IFRS implications early in deals and translate complex accounting matters into practical recommendations for management and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Requires deep IFRS expertise gained through technical accounting work or IFRS advisory.
• Experience advising on IFRS implications of M&A in listed international groups or similar environments.
• Ability to translate complex accounting matters into clear, actionable guidance for non‑accounting stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as IFRS accounting lead on acquisitions, divestments, farm-downs, joint ventures, and partnerships.
• Assess accounting implications early in transactions and advise on deal structures.
• Prepare clear IFRS assessments and memos to support commercial decisions.
• Review draft contracts and transaction documents from an accounting perspective.
• Participate in meetings with investors, advisers, auditors, and internal stakeholders on accounting matters.
• Contribute to wider Group Finance activities including policy development.
