Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark seeks a Senior Experience Designer to lead conceptualizing, prototyping, and enhancing the LEGO building experience. You’ll craft intuitive, engaging experiences that guide builders from inspiration to unboxing, collaborating with designers, engineers, product managers, marketers and researchers.

In an agile, consumer-focused environment you’ll apply Design Thinking, drive workshops, test concepts with users, and coach others in experience design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Design, Experience Design, or Service Design.
• Strong visualization and communication skills.
• Experience leading with Design Thinking methodologies.
• Ability to prototype tangible mockups (printed or digital).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Explore, prototype, and define concepts for innovative paper and digital building instructions.
• Co-design engaging experiences that inspire builders.
• Coordinate design sprints and workshops with partners across LEGO Group.
• Lead workstreams independently, drive pilot projects and explorations.
• Engage in consumer testing and synthesize insights for actions.
• Advocate for Experience Design and support capability building.
