Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S seeks a Business Analyst in the Commercial AI & Data department to translate business problems into AI product requirements, author BRDs/FRS, and map processes across the value chain. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver high-impact analytics solutions that improve patient outcomes and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business data analysis, business process design, data architecture or product development.
• Deep domain knowledge of Pharma Commercial line of business.
• Hands-on programming in Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, GithubDevOps or similar and process modeling tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional, matrix teams.
• Good understanding of MDM, Data Quality, Lineage, Catalog, Policy Management tools, GenAI, Agentic AI and ML models.
• In-depth understanding of process design, automation, and value measurement frameworks.
• Highly proficient in English and able to communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand problems, goals, and needs.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and meetings.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value and feasibility.
• Analyse current business processes and identify inefficiencies.
• Design future-state processes and automation opportunities.
• Assist liaise with business users, leadership, and technical teams.
• Create functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
• Define KPIs and success metrics; develop reports and dashboards.
• Support project planning, scope definition and change management.
• Coordinate UAT activities and manage defects/enhancements.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and adoption of new solutions.
