Job summary

Ørsted in Denmark’s Bioenergy division seeks a Shipping & Logistics specialist to support import vessels and biomass deliveries. You will manage SAP processes, purchase orders, and post-fixture activities while collaborating across departments to ensure operations follow contracts and terms.

As part of a small, flat team, you’ll develop efficiency, prepare internal and external presentations, and contribute to the department’s commercial and operational activities.

Qualifications

• In-depth SAP knowledge, ability to create/manage purchase orders and handle fast-track payments.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
• Experience in shipping and logistics is a clear advantage.
• Ability to read and understand contracts to ensure operations align with agreed terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide input and improvement suggestions to enhance efficiency and develop internal/external presentations.
• Support Bioenergy and department activities in commercial and operational roles.
• Act as SAP expert for relevant processes and functionalities.
• Independently create and maintain purchase orders and ensure timely administration.
• Perform post-fixture activities: laytime calculations, port turnaround figures, tonnage reporting.
• Collaborate in Danish and English with shipowners, operators, brokers, surveyors, truck haulers and colleagues.
