Job summary

Polar Latitudes Expeditions in Copenhagen is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our international Sales Team, handling inquiries from guests, agents and partners and turning curiosity into confirmed bookings.

The role is office-based in Copenhagen and full-time (37 hours per week), with working hours Monday to Friday 08:00–18:00 and travel for product familiarization about 14–21 days per year during the first two years.

Qualifications

• Service-minded and enjoys talking to guests and partners.
• Clear and friendly English communicator, both written and spoken.
• Organized with the ability to track follow-ups across several conversations.
• Experience in travel industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and chats from guests, agents and partners.
• Manage the sales inbox, including inquiries coming in through HubSpot.
• Handle bookings and inquiries for small groups.
• Work with your assigned handler to follow up on outstanding forms and payments.
• Collaborate with the US sales team to deliver a high level of service.
• Support product and service development with ideas and input.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the role

As Sales Support Specialist, you'll be part of our Sales Team, working side by side with colleagues in Copenhagen and the US. You're often the first voice or message a guest or agent meets, and you'll help turn curiosity into confirmed bookings.

The position is office-based in Copenhagen and full-time (37 hours per week), with working hours scheduled Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00 (subject to adjustment). Travel related to product familiarization (approximately 14–21 days per year) will be required during the first two years of employment.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across our offices in Copenhagen, North America, Asia, and Australia.

Who you are

• Service-minded and genuinely enjoy talking to people – on the phone, in chat and by email
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inquiries without losing the personal touch
• Experience in the travel industry is an advantage
• Confident with systems; experience with HubSpot is an advantage
• A clear, friendly communicator in English, both written and spoken
• Organized and able to keep track of follow-ups across several conversations at once
• Collaborative and comfortable in a fast-paced, international and evolving organization
