Job summary

Nordic Bioscience is seeking a PhD Scientist to launch a commercial career selling ECM biomarker science to pharma and biotech leaders. You will report to the Chief Business Officer and join the business development team in Herlev, Denmark, onsite from day one.

In 12–18 months you’ll deepen knowledge, work on live projects, and translate science into client value. Afterwards you’ll lead a disease area, manage the pipeline, negotiate deals, and travel internationally (30+ days/yr).

Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences completed within the last couple of years or to be completed within the next 6 months.
• Up to 3 years of professional experience after PhD, including postdoc positions; role is a first step into a commercial career.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Deepen knowledge of ECM biology and our biomarker portfolio with scientific directors.
• Collaborate with senior salespeople on live projects and client calls.
• Translate science into clear, credible value propositions for clients and partners.
• Support lead follow-up, market research, and CRM data accuracy.
• Post-12–18 months, own a disease area, develop pipeline, negotiate deals, and travel internationally.
