Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Deputy Site Manager to lead offshore day-to-day operations within the Aftersales and Upgrades department. You will manage offshore execution, safety oversight, and logistics on a Service Operations Vessel, coordinating with Master Planning and offshore teams.

The role requires an engineering background, 4–5 years in similar roles, wind industry experience, and strong English communication. Primary location is Warrington or Aarhus, with a 14/14 rotation.

Qualifications

• Engineering background required (electrical or mechanical).
• Minimum 4–5 years in a similar offshore/site leadership role.
• Wind industry experience preferred.
• GWO and country-specific medical check certification required.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Oversee offshore daily operations, ensuring safety and cost efficiency.
• Lead shift and act as escalation point for operational issues.
• Coordinate marinelogistics, crew changes, tooling and materials.
• Maintain documentation, QA records, DPRs, and NCRs.
• Interface between client representatives and vessel operator, supporting technicians.
