Job summary

Vestas in Denmark is seeking an Offshore Traveling Service Technician to perform maintenance, repair and component exchanges on wind turbine generators. You will work with authorised technicians and collaborate with project managers, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely completion of tasks.

You will travel approximately 182 days per year, on a 16/12 rotation, and be based in Denmark with global travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with electrical or mechanical systems, preferably in wind/offshore/HV environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Valid driving license.
• Proficient with PC and MS Office to support day-to-day work.
• Safety-focused with collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices per HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with Service Managers and Project Managers for daily operations.
• Identify, register and coordinate deviations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and diagnose faults.
• Record time and material usage in Vestas systems.
• Carry out maintenance, repair and component replacement on turbines.
