Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Specialist for the Offshore Execution team to support commissioning and performance of wind farms. You will work with Site Managers, Commissioning Supervisors, and technical experts to improve operational excellence and deliver projects on time.

Based in Denmark or UK, you will coordinate on-site activities, troubleshoot, and contribute to final testing and handover. This role requires strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and experience in wind energy projects.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical systems, with understanding of commissioning and construction processes.
• Experience monitoring, analyzing, and resolving technical issues on wind farms or similar environments.
• Proficiency with VOT and internal systems to support commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Advanced Excel data analysis for reporting and performance tracking.
• Experience with documentation tools like SharePoint/OneNote.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site technical support specialist and liaise between sites and back-office teams.
• Communicate critical project information to site teams and stakeholders.
• Support Lead Site Managers with daily planning, coordination, and problem-solving.
• Provide technical guidance to Commissioning Supervisors onshore and offshore with the wider Construction team.
• Track wind turbine generator performance, coordinate troubleshooting, and assist with commissioning tasks.
• Assist with startup activities, commissioning documentation, training content, and competency assessments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commissioning processes, safety, quality, and efficiency.
