Job summary

Ramboll GCC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a team of HV/MV/LV specialists working on offshore wind and energy transition projects. You will participate in all phases from concept to EPC, with international assignments and site visits.

The role emphasizes design, analysis, and collaboration within a global Ramboll network. Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of HV cable design experience, experience with Cymcap, and strong English language skills;

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering.
• +2 years’ experience in underground HV cable route design and installation (66kV–400kV).
• Experience in Cymcap or other cable rating software.
• Experience with cable-related international and local standards.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and German are a plus.
• Experience with cable accessories is a plus.
• Junior/graduated candidates with cable design experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing project documents, gap analysis, and preparing technical reports.
• Client and third party management (civil, substation, crossing, etc).
• Cable rating and thermal calculations.
• Underground cable route development and installation strategy.
• Site visits during installation and commissioning; factory visits and test inspections.
• Prepare inspection and test plans; review test results and address non-conformities.
