Job summary
Ramboll GCC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Power Systems team, delivering HV cable design projects across Europe. You will review documents, perform cable ratings and installation planning, and support site activities and commissioning.

Qualifications
- Electrical engineer degree required.
- 2+ years of underground HV cable design and installation experience (66kV–400kV).
- Experience with Cymcap or similar cable rating software.
- Experience with cable standards (international and local).
- Fluent in English; Dutch and German are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review project documents and perform gap analyses.
- Manage clients and third parties (civil, substation, crossing).
- Perform cable rating and thermal calculations.
- Design underground cable routes and jointing arrangements.
- Develop installation strategies (direct burial, HDD, drilling).
- Site visits pre- and during installation; support commissioning.
- Prepare inspection and test plans and address non-conformities.
