Ramboll GCC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Power Systems team focused on underground HV cable systems. You will work on design, analysis, and installation strategies across multi-national projects.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with HV cable systems, CymCap, and international standards. English is essential; Dutch/German are advantageous. Open, collaborative culture with travel and professional growth opportunities.

Competenze

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering.
+2 years’ experience in underground HV cable system route design, civil works and installation (66 kV–400 kV).
Experience in CymCap or other cable rating software.
Experience in working with cable-related international and local standards.
Fluent in English; Dutch and German a plus for local clients.
Experience in cable accessories is a plus.
Junior/graduated candidates with cable system design experience welcome.

Mansioni

Review project documents, perform gap analyses, and prepare technical reports.
Client and third-party management (civil, substation, crossing, etc).
Cable rating and thermal calculations.
Underground cable routing development and installation strategy planning.
Site visits during installation, commissioning support, and factory inspections.
