Job summary
Ramboll Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Power Systems team in Denmark. You will work on offshore wind and energy transition projects, focusing on HV cable design, routing, and installation strategy across international settings.
The role requires a university degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant HV cable experience, with fluency in English and knowledge of cable standards. Copenhagen-area possibilities, travel may be involved.
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering.
- +2 years experience in underground HV cable system route design, civil works and installation, 66kV–400kV.
- Experience with CymCap or other cable rating software.
- Familiar with international and local cable standards.
- Fluent in English; Dutch and German are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review project documents, gap analysis, and prepare technical reports.
- Client and third-party management (civil, substation, crossing).
- Cable rating and thermal calculations.
- Underground cable routing development and installation strategy.
- Site visits during installation; commissioning support and factory testing.
- Prepare inspection and test plans and review test results.
