Job summary

Ramboll Group in Denmark seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Power Systems team and work on high voltage underground cable projects, from routing and installation strategy to interface with substations and civil works. The role offers international exposure and travel where needed.

You will review documents, perform technical analyses, and contribute to reports while collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering
2+ years’ experience in underground HV cable system route design, civil works and installation, 66KV up to 400KV
Experience in Cymcap or other cable rating software
Experience in working with cable related international and local standards
Fluent in English; Dutch and German languages are a plus to deal with local clients
Experience in cable accessories is a plus
Junior/graduated candidates with cable system design experience during bachelor/master are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

Reviewing project documents, gap analysis, and preparing technical reports
Client and third party management (civil, substation, crossing, etc)
Cable rating and thermal calculations
Underground cable routing development and installation strategy
Site visit prior and during installation, commissioning support, cable factory visit and test inspection during cable manufacturing
Preparation of inspection and test plan, reviewing and evaluating of the test results, and involvement in non-conformities during manufacturing, installation and commissioning
