Job summary

BORG Automotive Group is seeking a Group Transport Operations Manager to drive group-wide transport planning and execution in Denmark. The role requires coordinating across countries, aligning resources with local managers, and upholding standardized processes in a collaborative, matrix organization.

The successful candidate will manage performance, lead cross-functional teams, and advance transport initiatives while maintaining ownership and acting without direct line management responsibility.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in transport management, freight, logistics or similar operational roles.
• Ability to monitor performance and translate insights into actions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in an international context.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for group-wide transport planning and execution.
• Monitor and improve internal and external operational transport performance.
• Drive carrier performance management through service reviews and improvements.
• Act as the Group escalation point following local escalation processes.
• Provide matrix leadership to local transport managers and colleagues.
• Develop and improve group-wide transport processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners for effective transport solutions.
• Support and execute strategic transport initiatives, including tenders.
