Job summary

Transport 24 Danmark ApS is seeking three experienced Team Leaders for Night Shift Operations to lead a post and operations team, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and high service quality.

You will report to the Operations Manager and drive continuous improvement across night shift activities, coordinating with dispatch, customer service and support functions to optimize productivity and resource planning. A hands-on leader focused on people performance will thrive in this role.

Are you ready to lead a dynamic transport and distribution team in a fast-paced logistics environment?

At Transport 24 Danmark ApS, we are looking for three experienced and motivated Team Leaders - Night Shift Operations to ensure the efficient execution of our transportation and delivery services in association with DAO.

You will be responsible for leading employees, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring high service quality while creating a positive and productive working environment.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in achieving operational goals, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across our night shift operations.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operation of our night shift transport and distribution activities. You will manage a team of postmen and operational staffconsisting of 15 persons, ensuring that deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

You will work closely with management and operational support functions to optimize productivity, maintain service standards, and ensure effective resource planning.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Overall responsibility for the daily execution of night shift post operations

Planning and coordinating staffing, routes, and operational resources

Conducting onboarding and training of new employees

Monitoring and controlling delivery route quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards

Ensuring adequate staffing by coordinating replacements during employee sickness, holidays, and other absences

Supporting recruitment and employee development in collaboration with HR

Investigating operational incidents and implementing corrective actions

Driving continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Collaborating closely with dispatch, customer service, and management teams

Participating in operational tasks when required and leading by example

Your Profile

Have previous experience within transportation, logistics, distribution, warehousing, or a similar operational environment

Are confident managing diverse teams and multicultural workplaces

Have strong organizational and planning skills

Can work independently and make decisions under pressure

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Are comfortable using IT systems and operational software

Have a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement

Are fluent in English , both written and spoken

Hold a valid driving license

Experience within courier, delivery operations will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week.

The role primarily covers night shift operations, with working hours scheduled according to a fixed roster. Flexibility is expected during periods of high operational demand, employee absences, holidays, and operational changes.
