Job summary

Alfa Laval is hiring two Global Strategic Purchasers to drive procurement strategies across Product Groups and Business Units, ensuring sustainable supplier performance and cost competitiveness. You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to align sourcing with corporate priorities and global markets.

Travel 40–60 days per year is required. Roles can be based in Kolding, Lund, Søborg, Aalborg or Flemingsberg, offering exposure to diverse markets and a chance to shape Alfa Laval’s global

Qualifications

• Several years of work experience with a strong commercial track record in purchasing and/or sales
• Experience in international negotiations and supplier relations (SRM)
• Technical experience in machining and welding processes is a strong merit
• Graduate degree in engineering or related business education
• Proficient in MS Office and fluent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
• Lead and drive purchasing projects and supplier negotiations
• Identify opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements, and maintain contracts
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to evaluate materials and audits
