Danfoss Power Solutions seeks a Director, BU Controlling to shape financial performance and strategy for a global business. You will partner with the VP and lead a high-performing, international finance team to drive transparency, profitability, and risk management.

The role offers regional flexibility within the European time zone and opportunities to influence senior leadership, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Proven track record of driving business performance through controlling, finance business partnering, or finance leadership in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, performance management, and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders while building trusted relationships across a global matrix organization.
• Experience coaching and developing finance professionals, strengthening capabilities, and driving results through influence and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drive business performance through financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning that enables better decisions and profitable growth.
• Challenge business and plant leaders with data-driven insights, helping identify opportunities, improve profitability, and mitigate risks.
• Coach and develop controllers across a global matrix organization, strengthening capabilities and fostering a high-performing controlling community.
• Provide clear visibility into financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting and transparency across key business metrics.
• Strengthen financial governance, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and long-term value creation.
