Danfoss Power Solutions seeks a Director, BU Controlling to shape financial performance and strategy for a global business. You will partner with the VP and lead a high-performing, international finance team to drive transparency, profitability, and risk management.

The role offers regional flexibility within the European time zone and opportunities to influence senior leadership, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Proven track record of driving business performance through controlling, finance business partnering, or finance leadership in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, performance management, and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders while building trusted relationships across a global matrix organization.
• Experience coaching and developing finance professionals, strengthening capabilities, and driving results through influence and collaboration.

The Impact You'll Make

Join Danfoss Power Solutions as our Director, BU Controlling (f/m/d) and help shape the financial performance and strategic direction of a global business. This role offers flexibility to be based at a Danfoss Power Solutions location within the European time zone, enabling close collaboration with business leaders and finance teams across our global organization.

Partnering closely with the VP of the Valves & Pumps (VPS) Business Unit, you will drive transparency across performance, profitability, and risk, turning financial complexity into actionable insights that support confident decision-making and profitable growth. You will also help build and develop a high-performing global controlling community, strengthening financial capabilities across the organization while supporting business performance through coaching, governance, and matrix leadership.
