Job summary

Flatpay in Copenhagen is seeking an experienced product manager to own our merchant reporting product from day one. You’ll define strategy, build partnerships, and lead the roadmap across seven markets, ensuring VAT filing, turnover reporting, and financial-year summaries are cleanly delivered.

You’ll collaborate with country teams, engineers, and executives to ship impactful features and stay current with changing regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management in fintech/payments/SaaS for SMEs.
• Understanding of SME financial reporting: VAT filing, turnover reporting, year-end prep.
• Curiosity about regulatory differences across seven markets and keeping knowledge current.
• Experience integrating with accounting tools (Dinero, Billy, e-conomic, Fortnox, DATEV, Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus.
• Strong commercial thinking: adoption, revenue, and unit economics.

Responsibilities

• Build the strategy for Flatpay's merchant reporting product across seven markets.
• Turn strategy into a roadmap and a business case, rallying engineering, design and country teams.
• Define partnerships to enable integrations with major accounting tools.
• Work with executives on direction, trade-offs, and pace.
• Spend time with merchants and bookkeepers to understand what numbers mean in practice.
• Partner with country teams and legal to ensure compliance as regulations evolve.
