Job summary

Flatpay is looking for a founding Product Manager to own the merchant reporting product from day one. You will define the strategy, build the roadmap, and partner with engineering, design, and country teams across seven markets to ensure compliant, VAT-ready exports and turnover insights.

You’ll work closely with executives and country leads, staying current on diverse regulatory requirements while shaping a product that serves SMEs with intuitive reporting and reliable data flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management in fintech, payments, or SaaS for SMEs.
• Experience with SME accounting or financial reporting products.
• Familiarity with VAT filing, turnover reporting, and year-end prep.
• Prior integration work with SME accounting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for Flatpay's merchant reporting across seven markets.
• Translate strategy into a roadmap and business case.
• Build partnerships to enable integrations with key tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and country teams.
• Engage with executives to align direction and pace.
• Stay current on regulatory changes in each market.
• Spend time with merchants to understand real needs.
