Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) to install, calibrate and service analytical instrumentation from Copenhagen region. You will train users, troubleshoot, and support customers across the Nordic countries with occasional European travel.

The role requires a degree in electrical/electronic engineering, chemistry or biochemistry, hands-on field service experience, and a ready willingness to travel up to 80%. English plus a Scandinavian language are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualification in electrical or electronic engineering, chemistry or biochemistry; Mass Spectrometry experience is a plus.
• Proven experience in field service work.
• A current driving license.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 80%.
• No visa restriction preventing travel in the USA or EMEA.
• Good at building relationships through trust and confidence.
• Self-motivation and a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal.
• Ability to install and commission sophisticated instrumentation and to instruct users in its operation.

Responsibilities

• Familiarization with instrumentation prior to installation from documentation or factory testing.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues in site planning prior to installation.
• Inspect, install, set up, test and train customers; ensure specifications.
• Carry out breakdown and planned maintenance at customers’ sites.
• Provide technical, software and application support to customers and colleagues, including remote diagnosis.
• Validate systems to certifiable standards.
• Provide technical input to the sales team in non-routine cases.
• Frequent travel within the Nordic Countries; travel to Europe possible.
