Job summary

Waters is seeking a senior technical expert to join the regional support team for BD COR molecular diagnostic systems in the Nordics and wider EMEA. The role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, training, and cross-border collaboration to ensure instrument performance and uptime.

The position requires extensive travel across the Nordics and EMEA, with a base near Stockholm or Copenhagen and close to international airports for efficient coverage.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in electronics, automation, software, or a related field.
• Experience supporting complex diagnostic instruments or laboratory automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of PC hardware, networking, and data systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Nordics, Western Europe, and EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical escalation expert for complex BD COR instrument, software, and connectivity challenges.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues remotely and onsite.
• Deliver technical training to Field Service Engineers and support teams across EMEA.
• Build regional technical capability by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Support new product introductions, software updates, and service readiness programs.
• Analyze performance trends and escalation drivers to identify improvements.
• Partner with remote and field teams to ensure effective resolution and parts readiness.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and regulatory compliance.
