Job summary

I&L Biosystems GmbH is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment at customer sites across Denmark and Sweden. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission equipment on-site at customer sites.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Provide technical advice and troubleshooting over the phone or online.
  • Support equipment qualification and validation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers.

As an Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and service to our customers.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Field Service Engineer, you play an important role in ensuring our customers can rely on their laboratory equipment and applications. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing laboratory equipment at customer sites across Denmark and Sweden.

You will travel regularly to customer sites. Together with our Application Specialists and in‑house Technical Support Engineer, you will be an important point of contact for our customers, helping them keep their laboratory operations running smoothly.

A few examples of your activities
  • You build up and maintain relationships with our customers to maintain and improve our customer satisfaction.
  • You are responsible for on‑site installation and commissioning of our equipment.
  • With corrective‑ and preventive maintenance you help our customers to run their business smoothly.
  • Equipment qualification and validation is as well a part of your tasks.
  • You support customers on the phone or online to clarify and solve technical issues.
  • You offer maintenance contracts and you provide customers with appropriate technical advice and recommendations.

THIS IS YOU
  • You have a technical background (preferably incl. electronic background).
  • You have hands‑on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and diagnosing laboratory equipment or.
  • You have experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a comparable role.
  • You are able to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment and applications.
  • You are able to work independent, but also being a team-player and work together with your colleagues in sales and customer service to meet the customer’s needs.
  • You have curiosity and pleasure in learning new methods/techniques.
  • You are self‑organized and stand for “hands‑on mentality”.
  • You can work with Microsoft Office programs.
  • High willingness to travel (70%), also to other European countries (including air travel).
  • You have experience working in GMP environments; experience in a regulated laboratory environment is a plus.
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Driving license class B and driving experience
