Job summary

Avid Bioservices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development to strategically grow sales and partnerships across biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, and pharmaceutical companies in Europe. This role emphasizes visibility in the marketplace and creating mutually beneficial collaborations.

Must be located in Europe and will lead proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations while coordinating with internal teams to deliver compelling biologics development and manufacturing opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in CDMO sales within biologics/pharmaceuticals
• 5+ years selling biologics development and manufacturing services
• Proven ability to build and expand client relationships
• Experience negotiating Master Service Agreements and commercial terms
• Access to biopharmaceutical accounts in Europe

Responsibilities

• Grow market share and revenue by meeting prospective clients to showcase partnering benefits
• Generate and close new biologics development and manufacturing opportunities with revenue and bookings targets
• Lead opportunities from prospecting through contract negotiation and execution
• Develop long-term relationships with biotech and pharma executives
• Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, legal, finance) to support proposals and pricing
