Job summary

Terma Group is seeking an Associate Project Manager to drive cybersecurity accreditation initiatives for defense and security programs. You will translate complex requirements into structured plans, manage milestones, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and strict security standards.

You will bridge engineering teams, cybersecurity experts, customers and stakeholders, delivering secure, compliant solutions for defense networks, tactical systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of dedicated Project Management experience in IT/cybersecurity/aerospace/defense.
• Solid understanding of international and national cybersecurity standards (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST).
• Experience with security governance workflows and POA&M management.
• Proficiency with enterprise project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
• Ability to translate technical concepts to timelines for engineers, cryptography specialists, and security analysts.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and detailed work structures to meet accreditation milestones on time and within budget.
• Coordinate between internal engineering teams, cybersecurity specialists, and customers.
• Manage preparation and compliance of security documentation, system descriptions and artifacts for formal evaluation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and hurdles that could delay security approvals.
• Provide regular progress reviews, manage change control, and deliver dashboards to leadership and clients.
