Job description

With us, history lives in our walls – and so do our ambitions. We are in the process of bringing together two strong areas into one unified commercial unit, and we are therefore looking for a Booking & Event Manager who can take ownership of the entire guest journey, from the first inquiry to the final agreement.

This is a newly created position with real influence. You will be responsible for creating structure, direction, and energy in an area where the pace is high – and the potential even higher.

Your role

As Booking & Event Manager, your focus is clear: to ensure a sharp, cohesive, and value-creating process – for both the guest and the hotel. You will work at the intersection of people, business, and guest experiences, playing a key role in elevating both quality and revenue.

The role is a mid-management position reporting directly to our Head of Revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • You ensure that all inquiries – whether related to individual stays, groups, or events – are handled quickly, professionally, and with high quality. The goal is clear: one consistent solution, one unified offer, and a seamless experience for the guest.
  • You are directly responsible for contributing to and delivering on the hotel’s budgeted targets through strong pipeline management, conversion, and value creation in every booking – across rooms, meetings, and Food & Beverage (F&B). You have an eye for both detail and overall potential.
  • You lead and develop our booking and events team (7 employees in total), creating a shared direction where collaboration and clear priorities are the foundation. You set direction, follow up, and develop – both people and performance.
  • You create simple, efficient workflows that make it easy to deliver high quality – quickly. You continuously work on improving how we operate, reducing complexity and increasing speed.
  • You act as the link between Sales, Revenue, F&B, and Operations. You ensure that what we promise is what we deliver – and that the transition from booking to execution is seamless.
What we are looking for

You thrive in an environment where you balance commercial thinking with creating structure for others. You have experience from the hotel industry or a related field – and you are used to working with both people and results.

We imagine that you:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in booking, events, and sales within the hotel industry.
  • Have documented leadership experience from a similar role.
  • Possess strong business acumen and naturally work with conversion and value creation.
  • Are structured without being rigid.
  • Communicate clearly and build trust across the organization.
  • Thrive with responsibility and can create direction in a newly established role.
  • Are fluent in English and at least one of the Nordic languages.
Why this role is interesting

At Admiral Hotel, you will become part of an open and collaborative environment where you have the opportunity to make a personal impact on both our operations and development. We place a strong emphasis on employee well‑being and take pride in maintaining a high level of engagement and job satisfaction across the organization. It’s something we can clearly see reflected in our results – and just as importantly, something you can feel when you walk through the hotel.

In addition, we offer:
  • A full‑time salaried position with attractive conditions, including pension, health insurance, 5 additional paid vacation days after 9 months of employment, etc.
  • A workday close to both the guest experience and strategic decisions, where you can influence structure, collaboration, and results.
  • Dedicated colleagues who value collaboration, positivity, and a strong sense of community – we support each other in both big and small tasks to ensure a great working day.
  • A massage scheme and a wide range of employee discounts supporting your well‑being.
  • Access to our Super Colleague program, offering up to 4 free stays per year at our hotels and resorts across the Nordics, along with many other attractive discounts.
