Job summary

IFS is seeking a Technical Presales Architect to help enterprise customers define, design, and adopt modern platforms powered by IFS Cloud, Industrial AI, and emerging technologies.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor across the customer journey, guiding architecture, security, deployment models, and AI capabilities to deliver long-term business value. The role requires leadership in architecture sessions, solution design, and strategic collaborations with Sales and AI teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Presales, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Technical Consulting, or other customer-facing tech roles.
• Proven experience designing, positioning, and presenting complex enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, cloud platforms, integration strategies, APIs, security concepts, and modern app architectures.
• Experience discussing security topics including IAM, data protection, governance, compliance, and secure architecture practices.
• Knowledge of deployment models including SaaS, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-region architectures.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, LLMs, agentic AI, AI orchestration frameworks, intelligent automation, and practical enterprise AI use cases.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve productivity and prototype development.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value for technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops with customers and partners.
• Design solution architectures that align business requirements with IFS Cloud capabilities and industry best practices.
• Advise customers on platform architecture, integration patterns, security frameworks, identity management, and deployment models.
• Guide customers through deployment options including SaaS, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and regulated environments.
• Demonstrate how AI, automation, intelligent agents, and emerging technologies can improve productivity and outcomes.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to accelerate innovation, prototyping, and value realization.
• Engage with security, compliance, data governance, and enterprise risk stakeholders to address concerns.
• Partner with executives and IT leaders to evaluate technology strategies and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead technical responses for opportunities, including architecture reviews, security discussions, RFPs, and PoCs.
• Stay at the forefront of cloud technologies and enterprise platform innovation.
