Job summary

IFS is seeking a Technical Presales Architect to guide enterprise customers in defining and adopting modern platforms powered by IFS Cloud, industrial AI, and related technologies. You will act as a trusted technical advisor across architecture, security, deployment models, integration patterns, and AI capabilities to deliver long-term business value.

Qualifications

5+ years in Presales, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Technical Consulting, or other customer-facing technology roles.
Proven experience designing, positioning, and presenting complex enterprise software solutions.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, integration strategies, APIs, security concepts, and modern application architectures.
Experience discussing security topics including identity and access management, data protection, governance, compliance, and secure architecture practices.
Knowledge of deployment models including SaaS, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-region architectures.
Strong understanding of AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI, AI orchestration frameworks, intelligent automation, and practical enterprise AI use cases.
Demonstrated use of AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve productivity, accelerate solution design, create prototypes, automate tasks, and develop technical assets.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value for technical, business, and executive audiences.
Excellent communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops with customers and partners.
Design solution architectures aligning business requirements with IFS Cloud capabilities and industry best practices.
Advise customers on platform architecture, integration patterns, security frameworks, identity management, and deployment models.
Guide customers through deployment options including SaaS, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and regulated industry environments.
Demonstrate how AI, automation, intelligent agents, and emerging technologies can improve productivity, decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
Apply AI tools and modern development techniques, including AI-assisted development and coding, to accelerate innovation, prototyping, and customer value realization.
Engage with security, compliance, data governance, and enterprise risk stakeholders to address customer concerns and accelerate decision-making.
Partner with executive stakeholders, enterprise architects, IT leaders, and business leaders to evaluate technology strategies and transformation roadmaps.
Act as the technical lead in strategic sales cycles, shaping technical win strategies and differentiating IFS against competing platforms.
Collaborate with Sales, Consulting, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and AI teams to develop winning solution strategies and influence future product innovation.
Lead technical responses for strategic opportunities, including architecture reviews, security discussions, RFPs, proof-of-concepts, and executive presentations.
