Our controlling team is passionate about numbers and strives to connect the dots between business activities and financial outcomes. We foster rebuy’s understanding of performance drivers and turn dry numbers into actionable insights. As part of the team, you will work in the commercial controlling pillar, reporting to our senior commercial controller, acting as business partner for the commercial team, supporting the reporting, budgeting & forecasting processes and operational steering.

Key Responsibilities:

During your first months you will get to know all parts of our business, and deep dive into the existing planning & reporting infrastructure of the commercial area. In parallel you will build a strong network across the company including all relevant stakeholders in order to take on the role as business partner for the commercial team

You will be involved in sales and marketing related financial reporting, forecasting and planning processes and support operational performance steering by providing guidance to reach best possible results

Besides the daily business you will take ownership for small to midsize projects to further enhance our commercial controlling processes

By working closely together with our BI analysts you will develop and streamline our data and reporting landscape

On top of sales and marketing specific topics you´ll also be involved in more general/central controlling processes by supporting the other controlling functions (Operations and FP&A), and “as always” taking care of ad-hoc tasks

Successfully completed university degree in business administration or similar

You have gained first professional experience preferably within commercial controlling in an ecommerce or C2B business (not a must), at least 1-2 years

Well-marked analytical thinking together with the ability to grasp the ‘big-picture’ and at the same time dive deep into details that drive it

Your communication style is concise and stakeholder oriented

You are fluent in English and an expert in Excel and/or GoogleSheets, SQL and Looker knowledge and German would be a plus

Berlin - Home Office (minimum 1 day per week in the office)
