Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Portfolio Lead to steer the Product Owner and Project Manager teams at the portfolio level. You will own the consolidated roadmap, drive prioritization, and ensure high-quality specifications across product and technical surfaces.

Responsibilities include managing budgets and forecasts, resource allocation, and delivery timelines. You will present risks and tradeoffs to executives and drive process improvements based on post-mortems.

• Experience managing and developing product and project management teams.
• Experience owning product roadmaps, prioritization, and specification quality.
• Experience with budget forecasting, variance reporting, vendor and contractor spend, SOW tracking, and renewals/terminations.
• Experience with organization-wide resource allocation and forecasting hiring and contractor needs.
• Experience owning executive-level delivery timelines, roadmap status, risk, and tradeoffs.
• Experience maintaining a portfolio-level RAID register.
• Experience driving cross-functional accountability across product, project management, engineering, and QA.
• Ability to make scope, schedule, resource, and budget tradeoffs.

• Lead the Product Owner and Project Manager teams at portfolio scale.
• Own standards, tooling, and operating cadence for product and delivery functions.
• Arbitrate disagreements between product and project management.
• Own the consolidated product roadmap and prioritization across competing areas.
• Enforce specification quality and assign ownership for product and technical surfaces.
• Own budgets, forecasting, plan tracking, variance reporting, vendor spend, contractor spend, and SOW timing.
• Manage portfolio-wide resource allocation and resolve resource contention.
• Forecast hiring and contractor needs against the roadmap.
• Own consolidated delivery timelines for major initiatives.
• Present roadmap status, risks, and tradeoffs to executives.
• Maintain the portfolio-level RAID register and drive executive-level resolution.
• Provide status and early warnings on major commitments with options.
• Ensure projects remain on track across product, project management, engineering, and QA.
• Own cross-functional escalation paths, status accuracy, and date commitments.
• Lead post-mortems on missed commitments and implement process changes.
