Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Product Owner to partner with senior management in delivering the product vision and maintaining the backlog. You will prioritize user stories, align roadmaps, and drive release cadence while championing customer experiences and regulatory considerations.

The role involves active participation in Scrum/Kanban events, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and serving as the main escalation point for delivery issues.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree and/or product certificate.
• 7+ years relevant experience.
• 3-5 years Product Owner or Agile-related delivery experience.
• CSPO certification and PM experience considered an asset.
• SAFe certifications/experience considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, roles, and practices.
• Ability to manage backlogs, user stories, delivery initiatives, and defects.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend solutions.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to monitor regulatory requirements and manage risk, quality and testing.
• Ability to compile performance metrics and define OKRs.
• Occasional domestic travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States (Wilmington, DE).

Aufgaben

• Partner with senior management to support delivery of the product vision.
• Create, maintain, and reprioritize the product backlog and user stories.
• Align with senior management on the delivery roadmap and release cadence.
• Review performance analytics and champion customer experience improvements.
• Participate in Scrum or Kanban events, including stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Engage business partners to prepare customers for changes and establish Day 2 processes.
• Provide user story design, development, and oversight; accept/reject based on DoD and Acceptance Criteria.
• Manage delivery initiatives and oversee multiple backlogs as needed.
• Raise blockers affecting delivery and manage defects.
• Lead product development support based on Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Integrate enterprise strategy across functions.
• Interpret business challenges and recommend product/process improvements.
• Communicate changes and backlog priorities to stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for the development team.
• Lead Quarterly Business Review submissions and discussions.
• Manage stakeholder inputs and competing priorities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts on strategy.
• Coordinate risk, quality, and business testing management.
• Compile performance metrics and define OKRs with stakeholders.
• Identify organizational risks and escalate high-risk activities.
• Support team development and coach.
• Work with Scrum Master to reinforce Agile processes.
• Mentor others and share knowledge and best practices.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote a fair, diverse work environment.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and/or product certificate
• 7+ years relevant experience
• 3-5 years Product Owner or Agile-related delivery experience
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, roles, and practices
• Ability to manage product backlogs, user stories, delivery initiatives, and defects
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend solutions
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Ability to monitor regulatory requirements and manage risk, quality, and business testing
