Autonomous Teaming is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Munich team, developing scalable synthetic data pipelines and Unreal Engine-based systems. You will build, extend, and optimize simulation environments, assets, and rendering pipelines, closely collaborating with AI, robotics, and computer vision engineers to improve data quality and realism.

The role emphasizes production-quality software, real-time 3D environments, and integration of tools and plugins.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional experience with Unreal Engine, game engines, simulation platforms, or comparable real-time 3D environments.
• Strong professional experience developing with C++.
• Strong Python programming skills for tooling, automation, and pipeline development.
• Practical experience using Blender for creating, editing, or optimizing 3D assets.
• Solid experience with Unreal Engine 5, including: C++ development, Plugin development, Blueprints, Asset integration.
• Experience building production-quality software rather than academic or hobby projects.
• Good understanding of rendering pipelines, simulation environments, or synthetic data generation.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows.

• Generate synthetic datasets for computer vision applications including object detection, tracking, segmentation, and sensor simulation.
• Collaborate closely with AI, robotics, and computer vision engineers to continuously improve data quality and simulation realism.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability across the simulation pipeline.

Your profile

• Strong professional experience developing with C++
• Strong Python programming skills for tooling, automation, and pipeline development
• Practical experience using Blender for creating, editing, or optimizing 3D assets
• Solid experience with Unreal Engine 5, including: C++ development, Plugin development, Blueprints, Asset integration
• Experience building production-quality software rather than academic or hobby projects
