Sungrow in Germany is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer PV Utility to provide technical consultation to customers for PV and BESS solutions and to act as the main technical contact during quotation preparation. You will monitor market trends, benchmark Sungrow products against competitors, and coordinate product development between China headquarters and the EMEA region.

You will represent Sungrow at national and international trade fairs while maintaining regular customer engagement in Germany

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of PV and BESS design and engineering experience.
• Strong technical understanding with ability to sell solutions.
• Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per month, trips 3-4 days.
• German and English at C1 level; other European languages a plus.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer PV Utility in Germany. Curious what this role is about? Let’s dive in:
Provide technical consultation to customers in Germany for PV and BESS solutions Be the main point of contact for technical questions in relation to quotation preparation and offer first level technical support for the customer. Monitor market trends and benchmark Sungrow products against competitors based on market developments and competitor activities. Act as the key liaison between the China headquarters and EMEA offices, coordinating product development initiatives, technical improvements, and product updates. Attend national and international trade fairs and conferences to represent Sungrow, while maintaining regular customer engagement across Germany and making occasional business trips to other countries within the DACH region.

Your profile

That sounded great, right? To ensure you feel comfortable and successful in this role, it would be fantastic if you bring:

Technical or engineering education with background in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in PV and BESS design and engineering. Strong technical understanding and ability to sell solutions rather than just products Project management skills and ability to handle complex proposal. Ability and willingness to travel for business 1-2 weeks per month, typically for trips lasting 3-4 consecutive days. Language skills: German and English C1; other European languages are a plus
