Job summary

Alpine Eagle GmbH is building the future of counter-drone defence and is seeking a skilled recruiter to lead technical hiring in a fast-growing, international deep-tech environment in Karlsruhe. You will search, engage, screen, and nurture talent across software, AI/ML, and embedded engineering while partnering with hiring managers to deliver high-quality candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience in-house or agency-side.
• Sourcing and recruiting technical talent (Software Engineers, AI/ML, Embedded Engineers).
• Ability to assess candidate fit at an initial screening level.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Experience recruiting within defense, aerospace, national security, or similarly regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, with a focus on software engineering, AI/ML, robotics, and other deep-tech positions.
• Proactively identify, approach, and engage talent through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct search.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach, screening interviews, and manage candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact to offer stage.
• Support hiring managers with candidate sourcing, market insights, and recruiting best practices.
• Help strengthen Alpine Eagle's employer brand within engineering, defence-tech, and startup communities.
• Maintain accurate recruiting data and contribute to efficient hiring processes.

• Experience sourcing and recruiting technical talent, particularly Software Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Embedded Engineers, or comparable profiles
• Ability to understand technical skill sets and assess candidate fit at an initial screening level
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Fluent in English and German
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment

Experience recruiting within defense, aerospace, national security, or other highly regulated industries is a plus
