Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior technical writer to oversee complex documentation programs and produce user guides, installation manuals, training materials, and marketing collateral for customers.

You will gather technical information, write, edit, and proofread, coordinate layout, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver clear, accurate documentation across formats. Experience with online help systems and common tools is required in an Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of related experience in technical writing.
• Advanced experience writing content for online help, instruction materials, and user guides/manuels.
• Experience developing content using responsive design principles and best practices.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, RoboHelp, MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io, SiteImprove, Axe, Wave.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, CS, Software Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in an Agile Scrum environment writing technical documentation for software products.
• Ability to communicate all technical aspects to both technical and non-technical users.

• Write, edit, and proofread materials for reports, manuals, and catalogs.
• Arrange word processing, duplication, and distribution of material.

• Collect and organize information required for preparation of user’s manuals, training materials, installation guides, and reports at a complex level
• Research and learn the assigned system
• Participate in the writing, design, and development of marketing brochures, advertisements, news releases, feature articles, conference programs and proceedings, public relations announcements, newsletters, and other materials
• Design, develop, produce, maintain, and manage client web sites as assigned
• Create multimedia presentation materials, including slides
• Prepare operation and maintenance manuals and technical publications
• Gather technical information, prepare written text for basic projects, and help coordinate layout and manual organization
• Research available development/engineering information such as drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications
• Write, edit, and proofread materials for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instructional material, catalogs, technical publications, and software and hardware documentation provided by technical personnel
• Arrange for word processing, duplication, and distribution of material
