About us

Berlin International College is a private Studienkolleg. We prepare international students without direct university entrance qualification (HZB) in language and subject-specific courses and thereby enable them to study at German universities. For our upcoming Bachelor Prep Program Technology English in English language, we are looking for teachers in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.

Tasks

You will be preparing the students in your respective subject including exercises and tests for the final examination at BIC, which you will be conducting as well - together with other teachers.

Subjects

• Mathematics (Elementary mathematics, curve sketching, integration, extreme value problems)
• Physics (Statics, kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies, electromagnetic fields, DC circuits)
• Computer Science incl. introduction to basic Python programming, number systems and logic

Timeframe

01. Dez 2025 - 26. Jun 2026 + 5 weeks exam period (06.07. – 07.08.2026)

6 - 30 teaching units (á 45 mins.) per week

Requirements

You are a good fit if you ...

• would like to work as a freelance teacher
• can teach more than one subject (e.g. Mathematics and Computer Science)
• have good knowledge of the respective subject
• have at least one year experience in teaching groups of at least 5 students
• communicate fluently in English (speaking and writing) incl. relevant subject-specific terms
• have intercultural experience (advantage)
• have a work permit for Germany
• located in Berlin
