A leading travel innovation firm in Berlin is seeking a Strategic Intelligence Analyst to enhance research capabilities. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in strategic research, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in English. Responsibilities include synthesizing data into actionable insights, engaging with stakeholders, and crafting narratives through workshops and publications. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of travel with innovative solutions and a competitive salary package.
At the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, we’re pioneering the future of travel for the Lufthansa Group, the industry, but most importantly for everyone who travels.
The landscape of the travel industry is changing. Our job is to identify these shifts and translate them into new business opportunities in the travel sector.
We are guided by our ambition to take travel to new destinations. To achieve this, we believe in constantly ‘pushing the limits’ to make travel easier, more convenient, and more enjoyable.
By building a valuable portfolio of travel companies and products, we are making an essential contribution to the asset-light business strategy of the Lufthansa Group.
Within LIH, the Strategic Intelligence team provides the research foundation for this mission. We deliver data-driven insights, ecosystem analysis, and strategic foresight to support both internal decision‑making and external relevance. We also run TNMT.com, our public research platform, which helps define the travel and mobility tech (TNMT) narrative through evidence-based analysis and storytelling.
Our research covers a wide range of topics and methods. These include themes from aviation technology hype cycles, startup funding trends, and AI adoption, to long‑term traveler behavior shifts. We combine market data, tech indicators (such as patents and scientific publications), and media sentiment to cut through the noise and spotlight the signals that matter.
We’re now hiring a Strategic Intelligence Analyst (m / f / d) to help expand our research capabilities and scale our impact. In this role, you will work on deep, often ambiguous research questions that require both analytical sharpness and conceptual thinking. You will translate your findings into tailored strategy briefings, TNMT publications, and workshop inputs for stakeholders inside and outside the Lufthansa Group.
This is not a passive desk research role. You will be actively involved in shaping direction, co‑driving strategy sessions, and presenting insights in internal and external engagements. Your work will contribute directly to the innovation agenda of one of the most complex and dynamic industries.
You own the full insight cycle end‑to‑end from asking the right questions to making sure the answers change decisions.
