Nexperia in Hamburg seeks a highly qualified engineer to lead Silicon Carbide (SiC) product development, ensuring the functionality and performance of the final product. You will collaborate with simulations, layout and manufacturing teams to drive innovative manufacturing concepts.

Requires a PhD or Master’s in Semiconductor Device Physics/Technology and at least 3 years in power semiconductor tech; English fluency is essential, German is a plus, and occasional travel may be required.

About the role

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the development of Silicon Carbide (SiC) products. This is your new job.

This is you

PhD or Master's Degree in Semiconductor Device Physics or Technology, Microelectronics or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated working experience in power semiconductor technology, preferably SiC in industrial environment, depending on educational credentials
• Team player with a strong drive to achieve success
• Fluency in English, conversational German is desirable
• Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• Willingness to travel occasionally
