Job summary

Hannover Re in Hannover, Germany, seeks a Solution Architect Identity and Access Management (IAM) to shape our IAM landscape. You will manage identity platforms, design access and authorisation concepts, and drive secure integration of AI agents.

Key requirements include LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO/IdP, and cloud experience with Azure or AWS. Fluent German and English are required; a holistic view of processes and technologies is essential. Join us to influence our IAM strategy and governance.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as IT Specialist for System Integration or a degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification.
• Several years of Identity & Access Management experience with a holistic view of processes and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of LDAP, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID and SSO/IdP solutions.
• Initial practical experience with AI agents governance within IAM is desirable.
• Fluent German and English language skills are required.

• Continuously optimise and further develop IAM system landscape with current tech and innovative solutions.
• Contribute to strategic design of IAM architecture.
• Support projects integrating new services into IAM systems.

Within the Identity & Access Management team in Global Information Technology - End User Services, we ensure that employees can access systems securely and efficiently. We manage our identity management solutions and platforms and jointly design access and authorisation concepts as well as the continuous development of our IAM landscape.

In this role, you bring a holistic perspective to the IAM environment: from Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, identity providers and single sign‑on through to the evaluation of new technologies and the secure integration of AI agents, you actively help shape our IAM landscape. #LI-DNI

You can look forward to

• Continuously optimise and further develop our Identity & Access Management system landscape and help future-proof it based on current technologies and innovative solutions
• Contribute to the strategic design of our IAM architecture
• Support projects for integrating new services and applications into our IAM systems
• Build and establish an IAM governance framework for AI agents and develop secure agents to optimise our processes
• Advise business and project teams on questions and challenges relating to Identity & Access Management
• Manage and coordinate external IT service Providers

You come equipped with

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration and/or a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in Identity & Access Management combined with a holistic view of processes, technologies and requirements
• Sound knowledge of LDAP, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO/IdP solutions, current security standards and their orchestration
• Initial practical experience with the use of AI agents and the establishment of corresponding (IAM) governance structures
• Understanding of cloud-based services and technologies (Azure, AWS) is desirable
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Ability to analyse complex interrelationships, enthusiasm for innovation and strong communication skills
