iC Consult Group seeks a (Senior) Microsoft IAM Consultant (m/f/d) to join our team in Germany. You can work on-site/hybrid at our Essen, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Munich, Oberhaching, and Stuttgart locations or remotely in Germany.

The role focuses on modern Identity & Access solutions based on Microsoft Entra ID, guiding clients through the transformation from hybrid environments to a cloud-first identity architecture, and implementing Zero Trust access concepts with CA, MFA, and governance

Qualifikationen

• Several years in IAM or IT security with MS Entra ID and AD in hybrid/cloud.
• Deep knowledge of CA, MFA, FIDO2, Windows Hello for Business.
• Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SCIM; Microsoft Graph.
• Scripting and automation: PowerShell and IaC.
• Technical (sub-)project leadership; degree in CS or business informatics; certifications a plus.

Join our Team as a (Senior) Microsoft IAM Consultant (m/f/d) – either on-site/hybrid at our locations in Essen, Frankfurt am Main, Karlsruhe, Munich, Oberhaching, and Stuttgart or flexibly remote in Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

• Architectural and technical responsibility for modern Identity & Access solutions based on Microsoft Entra ID – from target architecture through implementation to operations
• Advising and guiding our clients through the transformation from hybrid environments (with Active Directory, MIM/FIM) to cloud-first identity architectures
• Designing and implementing Zero Trust access concepts with Conditional Access, modern authentication (MFA, FIDO2, passwordless) and Privileged Identity Management
• Designing and implementing Identity Governance and lifecycle processes (Entitlement Management, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Workflows) as well as integrating applications via SAML, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect and SCIM
• Leading requirements workshops and providing architecture and strategy consulting – as the point of contact for clients, business units and sales
• Bringing in fresh ideas on current topics such as Microsoft Entra Suite, Security for AI and agent identities as well as actively shaping our internal Microsoft identity expertise

Your Experience:

• Several years of experience in Identity & Access Management or IT security, ideally with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory in hybrid and cloud environments
• In-depth knowledge of Conditional Access, modern authentication (e.g. MFA, FIDO2, Windows Hello for Business) as well as Identity Governance and Privileged Identity Management
• Experience with standards such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SCIM as well as Microsoft Graph
• Confident in scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell, Infrastructure-as-Code)
• Experience in technical (sub-)project leadership as well as a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
• SC, AI and AB certifications are a plus – we are happy to support you on your way to more advanced certifications with our internal MCTs
• Experience with products from Semperis, Quest or Silverfort is a plus, but not a requirement
• Strong communication skills – including with people without a security background –, a structured way of working, and confident client and stakeholder engagement
• Passion for technology, architecture and security as well as fluent German and English language skills
