Your tasks as Software Developer / Data Scientist Smart Building (m/f/d)

• Area of responsibility: You are responsible for the entire development cycle for the operationalization of new business areas and models - from understanding customer requirements to the final provision of software.
• Analyses: You will also record, analyze and validate customer and business requirements in relation to software. You analyze IT developments derived from this independently and in a solution‑oriented manner and regularly coordinate these with the interfaces from hardware and software. You will also analyze data and patterns to create data models and contribute to the development of production‑ready algorithms.
• Tests and documentation: You carry out system and verification tests on hardware and software and enjoy creating development and test documentation, as well as further developing and documenting our IT business processes.
• Interface work: In your role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders on project and process‑relevant topics.

Specialist knowledge

• You have successfully completed your studies in computer science or a comparable vocational training and have some professional experience.
• You also score points with your experience in the development of production‑ready tools, code reviews or feature deployments or in the area of ongoing maintenance and improvement.

Expertise

• You have already acquired extensive knowledge of Java, Python/Bash, GraphQL and REST and ideally already have some experience in data science libraries such as Pandas, SciPy, Scikit‑Learn and MLOps.
