Zusammenfassung

Prysmian Group sucht eine/n Site Logistics Coordinator im Bereich Transmission. Sie steuern die Durchführung von Hochspannungskabelprojekten, koordinieren Last-Leg-Routen, prüfen Routen und arbeiten eng mit Transportdienstleistern und dem Projektteam zusammen.

Sie verfügen über mehrjährige Erfahrung in Schwertransport-Logistik, beherrschen Deutsch auf C1-Niveau und Englisch auf B1-Niveau, und arbeiten gerne in einem hybriden System mit regelmäßiger Reisetätigkeit innerhalb Deutschlands.

Qualifikationen

• Erfahrung in Schwertransport-Logistik oder vergleichbar.
• Gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und Englischgrundkenntnisse (B1).
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel/PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Koordination der Last-Leg-Route und Sichtprüfung der Routen in Abstimmung mit weiteren Logistikfunktionen.
• Überwachung der Fahr- und Rangierflächen, Abstimmung mit Transportdienstleistern.
• Übergabe von Gemeinschaftsbereichen und Ladezonen.
• Ableitung kritischer Maßnahmen aus Routenkarten und deren Kostenfestsetzung.

Der Geschäftsbereich „Transmission“ von Prysmian steht an der Spitze der Innovation und der Anpassung an die Markttrends der Kabelindustrie und legt dabei besonderen Wert auf die Erzeugung erneuerbarer Energien. Unsere Kabellösungen bilden das Rückgrat der Stromnetze und ebnen den Weg für ein effizienteres, vernetztes und umweltbewusstes Energieökosystem. Innerhalb des Geschäftsbereichs Transmission, als Teil der Supply-Chain-Organisation, leitet der Site Logistics Coordinator die Durchführung des Hochspannungskabelprojekts.

General description of the function

The Transmission Business unit of Prysmian is at the forefront of innovation and adaptation to the market trend of the cable industry, embracing emphasis on renewable energy generation. Our cable solutions are the backbone of the power grids, paving the way for a more efficient, interconnected, and eco‑conscious energy ecosystem. Within the Transmission Business Unit, as part of the Supply Chain organization, the Site Logistics Coordinator manages the execution of the high voltage cable project.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Last leg execution: Alignments on final Routes last‑leg including visual inspection of routes in coordinaton with other responsible logistic functions. (Together with the responsible colleague for the projects’ Last Leg).
• Checking dimensions of the area for the truck driving/maneuvering overseeing the execution of all measures, including alignments with transport provider
• Handover of Joint Bays & Reloading Areas
• Extracting the critical measures from the route surveys
• Categorizing the complexity and time for execution, for example BETRA
• Agreeing on cost for fixing these measures and following up with internal reports and VO’s if applicable
• Making supplier evaluations and reporting this to the logistics organization
• When things are not going according to plan, the Site Logistics Coordinator aligns with the applicable Logistics Coordinator
• Being present regularly on ISA’s for the coordination of:
• Location and storage logic –to make sure drums are accessible
• Verification of drum numbers for outbound, storage and inbound
• Storage conditions of cables and accessories
• Equipment status – checking the status of the equipment including permits and certifications
• Return flow of drums and cable scrap
• Making supplier evaluations and reporting this to the logistics organization
• Closely collaborate with (other parts of the) supply chain organization to align and implement work methods and best practices
• Collaboration with project management and other key functions
• Overseeing the key subcontractors by maintaining the relationship and coordinating potential issues

Qualifications and Professional Requirements

• Experience in Heavy Transport Logistics, Supply Chain, or an equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience, preferably in project logistics and heavy-, oversized multimodal transportation
• Ability to influence execution - perseverance and assertiveness
• Proficient in German C1 and English at B1 level or higher
• Basic MS Office skills, preferably in Excel and Powerpoint
• Willing to travel frequently to the jobsites in Germany and project offices
• Proactive communication and effective problem‑solving skills
• Team player, stress resistant with strong conflict resolution skills and some sense of humor
