Zusammenfassung

Prysmian Group in Germany is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize existing production equipment, develop new processes, and support shop floor and purchasing. You will design specifications, analyze production lines, and drive improvements to achieve cost-efficient manufacturing.

We value 1–4 years of experience, strong technical and business acumen, and teamwork across cross-functional teams. Fluent German and English are required.

Aufgaben

  • Independent optimization and implementation of new technical processes, manufacturing techniques, and industrial standards in production within the framework of specified guidelines
  • Preparation of technical specifications for the procurement of new equipment/equipment components and execution of commissioning
  • Design of auxiliary equipment, tools, systems, and system components
  • Conducting analyses and tests on production lines to determine optimal system parameters and performance characteristics for existing and new products
  • Planning and conducting investigations, identifying optimization potential, and documenting results
  • Providing technical support to Manufacturing and Purchasing regarding equipment and material selection
  • Independently managing special projects such as production concepts, material flow analyses, DMAIC improvements and LeanSigma projects, and selecting materials

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success

The main responsibilities of a Manufacturing Process Engineer include optimizing existing production equipment, developing and designing new production equipment, preparing documentation and technical records, and providing technical support to the shop floor and the purchasing department.



  • Independent optimization and implementation of new technical processes, manufacturing techniques, and industrial standards in production within the framework of specified guidelines

  • Preparation of technical specifications for the procurement of new equipment/equipment components and execution of commissioning

  • Design of auxiliary equipment, tools, systems, and system components

  • Conducting analyses and, where necessary, tests on production lines to determine the optimal system parameters and performance characteristics for both existing and new products

  • Preparing development assignments, designing test setups, planning and conducting investigations in accordance with guidelines, identifying optimization potential, and analyzing and documenting results

  • Supporting manufacturing/MWS in addressing production issues and equipment malfunctions related to the mechanical components of the system

  • Cost estimation of production techniques for new manufacturing processes and production methods

  • Providing technical support to Purchasing regarding equipment and material selection

  • Independently managing special projects, such as developing production concepts, conducting material flow analyses, implementing DMAIC improvement projects and LeanSigma projects, creating detailed designs and custom modifications, and selecting suitable materials

Hauptaufgaben des Manufacturing Process Engineers umfassen die Optimierung vorhandener Fertigungsanlagen, die Entwicklung/Projektierung neuer Fertigungsanlagen, die Erstellung von Dokumentationen und technischen Unterlagen sowie die technische Unterstützung der Werkstatt sowie des Einkaufs.



  • Selbstständige Optimierungen sowie Einführung neuer technischer Prozesse, Fertigungstechniken und industrieller Standards in der Produktion im Rahmen vorgegebener Richtlinien

  • Erstellung der technischen Spezifikation bei der Beschaffung von Neuanlagen/Anlagenkomponenten und Durchführung der Inbetriebnahme

  • Konstruktion von Hilfs- und Betriebsmitteln, Anlagen und Anlagenkomponenten

  • Durchführung von Analysen und ggf. auch Tests an Produktionslinien zur Festlegung der optimalen Anlagenparameter und Anlagenkennlinien für bereits produzierte sowie neue Produkte

  • Erstellung von Entwicklungsaufträgen, Entwicklung von Versuchsaufbauten, Planung und Durchführung von Untersuchungen im Rahmen von Richtlinien, Erschließung von Optimierungspotential sowie Analyse und Dokumentation von Ergebnissen

  • Unterstützung der Fertigung/MWS bei Produktionsproblemen und Anlagenfehlern im mechanischen Teil der Anlage.

  • Kostenermittlung von Produktionstechniken bei neuen Fertigungsabläufen und Produktionstechniken

  • Technische Unterstützung des Einkaufs im Rahmen von Anlagen- und Materialauswahl

  • Selbstständige Bearbeitung von Sonderprojekten, wie Erstellung von Produktionskonzepten, Materialflussanalysen, DMAIC Verbesserungsprojekten, LeanSigma Projekten, Erstellung von Detailkonstruktionen und Anpassungskonstruktionen sowie Auswahl der geeigneten Materialien
