Job summary

SA OPERATIONS in Cuxhaven, Germany, seeks a Shore-Based Project Support Coordinator for a major offshore marine operation. This on-site role represents the project locally in Cuxhaven, providing practical operational and logistical support to keep activities running smoothly.

The ideal candidate can think on their feet, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems efficiently in a dynamic offshore environment. The assignment is approximately 6 weeks with ASAP mobilization.

Qualifications

• Based in Cuxhaven or the immediate surrounding area.
• Excellent knowledge of the Cuxhaven port area and local services.
• Flexible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving licence. Own vehicle preferred (a company van can be provided if required).
• Able to respond quickly to urgent operational needs at any time.

• Act as the local point of contact for the project team.
• Respond to time-critical operational requests, often at short notice.
• Collect and transport project personnel to and from airports, hotels, ports or other locations.
• Source, purchase and deliver tools, equipment, consumables and other operational items as required.
• Coordinate local deliveries, collections and transport arrangements.
• Liaise with local suppliers, service providers and port-related businesses.
• Assist with day-to-day logistical coordination and resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Remain available on a 24/7 on-call basis to support urgent project requirements.
