Job summary

Vestas seeks a Service Technician to join our wind energy team in Neumünster. You will carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure turbines operate reliably, working in small teams, and addressing faults to optimise performance.

Based in the Schleswig-Holstein region, you will usually be home in the evenings. The role requires vocational training in a relevant technical field, willingness to travel, and comfort with heights. Training and a clear career path are provided.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
